About the facilitator
Juan Domínguez is certified by the Institución Española de Sonoterapia (IES) and has completed more than 200 hours of continuing training with international instructors. He is based in Managua.
Before working with sound, he spent 15 years as an infrastructure and systems engineer. Each session follows a clear structure, so the host has nothing to improvise and guests only need to lie down and listen.

Questions from hosts
Do you travel outside Nicaragua?
Yes, on request. I am based in Managua and work across Nicaragua; for retreats and events elsewhere in the region, travel and accommodation are arranged with the host.
What do you need from the venue?
A floor where each guest can lie down on a mat, shade or a roof if the session is outdoors, and relative quiet while it lasts. I bring the gongs, bowls and sound equipment; mats and timing are agreed before the date.
Is a sound bath a therapy?
It is a relaxation and listening experience, not a medical treatment, and it does not replace one. Guests lie down, listen and rest; each person experiences it in their own way.
